Did you know

The size of a child's brain reaches 90 per cent of an adults's by the age of FIVE.

These early years are critical for lifelong learning and wellbeing. Talking, reading, playing and singing with children during their first five years helps shape thinking and emotional patterns for life, influences learning, relationships and resilience.

Attempting to build a house on an unstable foundation is fraught with danger and considered dangerous. The extraordinary cost of repair, would discourage you from buying such a house.

So why do we make more conservative decisions on a purchase of a house than our precious children's future?

Starting school without a solid foundation is also fraught with danger with far more serious consequences than those relating to a house.

Learning Outcomes - Our Canopy

The Developing a Strong Sense of Identity outcome of our program supports children to feel safe, secure, and supported, while building confidence in who they are and how they belong.

Through this element, children develop autonomy, interdependence, and resilience, along with a strong and positive sense of self. They learn to relate to others with care, empathy, and respect as they grow in confidence and understanding.

These foundations help children feel secure in themselves and confident to branch out at school and beyond.
